Fly fishing isn't just reserved for trout.  Mountain State Anglers can put you on some monster smallies with a fly rod as well. 

The New River makes for a good fly fishing because of the wide landscape of the river.  We'll provide heavier weight fly-rods and leaders to make sure you don't lose the biggest fish you've ever landed on a fly rod.

Don't know how to fly fish?  That's ok.  We can teach you how to fly fish on this wide-set river so you have more room to spread your "wings."  After you hone your skills, then you'll be ready to tackle (no pun intended) trout fishing in  West Virginia.

Tackle, gear and lunch are provided on both trips.
