Team Building On The New River Gorge
A variety of teambuilding and retreat services are available from our partner Focus Intent. They specialize in facilitated group learning experiences. Services take place at Rivermen or on trails along the New River Gorge. All services are booked and coordinated through Rivermen. These types of programs are customized to meet your individual needs. Focus Intent will work with you to understand each of the services available, answer your questions, and prepare a proposal based on your interests. Through the use of problem solving initiatives, games, puzzles, and unique group events we provide for the following to take place:
ICE BREAKER & RETREAT KICK-OFF SESSIONS
TEAM CHALLENGE A teaming experience: a variety of problem solving initiatives and challenges are used to foster group interaction. Each activity has a purpose, creating the opportunity for team learning and development. Let the challenge begin!
TEAM GORGE HIKE A team experience with a view! The group is challenged to complete team and individual growth tasks while hiking a gentle trail with a spectacular view of the New River Gorge.
TEAM ORIENTEERING CHALLENGE COURSE Get your Bearings! Utilizing a compass and teamwork, participants will be challenged to locate marked points off of a designated hiking trail. Once a point is located, the team is then challenged to complete the task presented before moving onto the next point.
JUST FOR FAMILIES Families embark on the time honored family vacation with hopes of fun and strengthened family ties. Fun is usually the easy part; it's the strengthened family ties and relationships we often struggle to achieve. Our Family challenge program ensures both fun and quality family time with a real focus on strengthening family relationships. A family time challenge facilitator will engage your family in three hours of playful problem solving and nature-based activities. Our goal is for your family to laugh together, face and succeed at challenges together, while having a rewarding time outdoors. Is your family up for "All aboard" A classic teambuilding activity in which your family is challenged to physically support one another in an endeavor to occupy an ever-diminishing space? Can your son or daughter guide you successfully through the "Maze" where objects are scattered throughout your path...and your blindfolded? These are just two examples of challenges faced by your family. Program takes place at your lodging facilities or on trails along the New River Gorge National River.
