Whitewater rafting on this “Gauley Reverse” 2 day will allow you to experience each section of the Gauley River, just not the way Mother Nature intended! Your first taste of Gauley River rafting will be on the Middle/Lower section learning the complexities of white water rafting and coming to understand what 'Big Volume' means in true whitewater rafting terms. You'll get your feet wet on this section, both literally and figuratively!
Once initiated, you'll graduate to the powerful Upper Gauley River section on Day 2 to test your river running skills on more than 40 rapids - 5 of them Class V's! This trip lets you see everything the Gauley River has to offer in a format that rewards you every step of the way with big river excitement and beautiful West Virginia scenery.
*2010 Season runs Friday-Monday, September 10th-October 17th. Keep in mind that October 16th is West Virginia's famous Bridge Day. We will also be running the Lower New River on that day.

I just wanted to let you know what an excellent time I had this weekend with the Rivermen. On Saturday the 11th, our group took the Canopy Tour. It was an amazing experience and nothing beats soaring through the air on a steel cable. Our guides, Tim and Sara, were very helpful and made sure everyone had fun safely. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wanted to take the Canopy Tour.On Sunday the 12th, we rafted the Lower New. It was a great experience and our adrenaline was pumping the whole time. Our guide, Ed, was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the river. I would definitely recommend him also.Overall, I know I speak for my whole group when I say we had an excellent time and I would certainly recommend the Rivermen, along with Tim, Sara, and Ed, to anyone.Thanks for a fun weekend,Logan
